Superman: A Triumph for fans of Comic Books Movies, a Bit Confusing For the Average Movie Goer

Superman has finally returned to theaters with Director James Gunn leading the new DCU. Gunn previously directed 2021's The Suicide Squad and spin-off Peacemaker television series. Gunn found success at Marvel Studios with The Guardians of the Galaxy volumes 1, 2, and 3, which is some of Marvel Studios best work in my opinion. Gunn has a knack for taking comic characters that are more obscure and lesser known and giving them heart, soul, and humor, making you care about each character, bringing them into the limelight. Willoughby's Comic Heaven, From City Cornerstone to National Destination

Comic Heaven, located at 4847 Robinhood Dr in Willoughby opened its doors in 1994 and has been a staple in the community for over 30 years. Many locations and store fronts have changed in the ever-evolving Willoughby, but Comic Heaven has been a constant. When the previous owner decided it was time to retire, he had a buyer lined up until the deal fell through and local comic enthusiast and businessman Anthony Tekavec stepped in and saved the cherished legacy store in April of 2025. Anthony has been collecting comics his entire life and frequented the store himself for many years. He decided to not only save the store but bring it into the next generation with a remodel, a new mission, and he was going to do it with his family. Click here for the whole story
